What happens if the UserLock Primary server and Backup server are not available?
If UserLock servers are not available, the policies can’t be checked. To not block the production, every UserLock agent will let users connect without restrictions.
All session events are logged locally on machines and will be communicated to the UserLock server when it will be again available. This will allow administrators to check what happens during this issue.
There is also an option that allows UserLock to force restriction in real time after a period during which the protection was down. You can now force session logoffs for users exceeding their number of authorized simultaneous sessions immediately when the UserLock agent communication is working again.
